Personally, I find this clip to be an example of very poor and irresponsible journalism. “Playing the clip” is still platforming him and his lies. The way to debunk misinformation is to give proper information outright without repeating the myth. With this, people walk away remembering Jr’s lies.

1/ You’re absolutely right. News people need to balance RFK Jr’s insanity with actual credentialed EXPERTS. Quote experts on immunology, virology, epidemiology, and ask him “What makes you more qualified than these experts who are trained on these issues, whereas you are not.”
2/ when he spouts off some BS about “mitochondrial challenges”, tell him, that’s not a thing. When he talks about kids who are “damaged”, tell him, “You do not have a medical degree, you do not have specialized training; why should we listen to ANYTHING you have to say?” Observation =/= diagnosis.

Yep. He got called out and rolled right into the next lie, 72 vaccines for kids. If she had said "If you're just going to lie we don't need to hear any more..." and let the producer go the next segment that would have been real.
She also called out that lie and he immediately backpedaled. Throwing him out of the studio might be cathartic but would also allow a bunch of people to conclude "the media is suppressing our own HHS secretary." And they can just see him on another channel where he isn't made to contradict himself.
No he didn't backpedal, he talked over her and repeated it. I didn't say anything about "throwing him out of the studio". Make it clear you don't allow lies about children, kind of a baseline for journalism.
Uh, we must have watched different clips then, because in mine, she pointed out that she has kids and they didn't get 72 vaccines, then he very clearly altered his claim to 16 vaccines with a total of 72 doses.
