Worst band I've ever heard live. Tried so hard to hide from those sounds they were producing

It was 2 summers ago, I knew I was in for something rough when their sound check had the drums turned up to an absurd level.

I refuse to go to a show anymore without earplugs (despite already half destroying my hearing from not wearing them at work for decades (that's showbiz)). Even the lo-fi foam plugs make a show/rave better. Saw LCD Soundsystem recently and the mix was sublime, but earplugs still made it better
