Well, there’s a bit of subtlety here. “Belief” is a somewhat flexible thing, psychologically speaking. He may very well believe what he’s saying but only so he can continue playing his social game that serves some underlying psychological needs. The real problem is his behavior.

Fair. It is very much cultist behavior, he repeats the right-wing catechism exactly at all times. It used to be kind of funny when he’d assume we’re like him and can’t criticize “our leaders” like Biden or Obama, and then we’d tell him things they’re wrong about.
