💯
The part with the Railroad was an important nod to real world history.
daniel day-lewis shoulda done the vampire movie
FDR: American Badass is harder to find but its just a better ALVH. A ten to its very solid 8
Then it’s a really bad take.
I actually liked that movie!
I might agree!
If you go into ALVH viewing it as a comedy and not a serious work, it's actually really funny.
"There's more than one kind of railroad." OMFG you beautiful idiotic geniuses
Oh, *THIS* is not a troll. That's a 'Warrant Canary', which implies anything without that statement *IS* a troll. 👍
The problem is we were promised, for years, a proper Lincoln biopic by Spielberg starring Liam Neeson and we were denied it.
one president will defeat a rebellion and rebel states will be... RETAKEN.
Both, Spielberg and Neespn were committed to the project. However, when the movie was in the final phase of pre-production, Neeson had just lost his wife Natasha Richardson in an accident and felt that he wasn't able to do the movie justice, so he stepped away.
I just finished watching it. I’m surprised how much I enjoyed the movie.
But how does it stack up to 2001’s queer cult classic “Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter?”
Close… but less than everyone got laid, on any night much less the immediate night.
I thought ALVH was a brilliant concept with OK execution. I’m quite sure I’d rather see it again than watch Spielberg’s Lincoln once
That was the dumbest book I was ever forced to read. And then they made a film of it, apparently. 🙄
Genuinely I think Benjamin Walker and Mary Elizabeth Winstead had better chemistry and I felt more emotion over their son’s death in Vampire Hunter
Yes, this is absolutely correct. You have the order of merit.
I enjoyed the ALVH book far more than I did the movie.
Correct. 🪓
Yeah it was silly fun.
Husband and I loved that movie
