Will make places like Nashville and Austin and Orlando — definitely conservative bastions, and not just other blue parts of the country that conservatives like to pretend they’re moving to to be in Real America — seem more desirable, for sure

For a multitude of personal and familial reasons I’m choosing to live in the (blue) Cincinnati area, but I still miss dc every day, regardless of the problems it has I’m fairly confident residents of Dallas and Miami have complaints about their metropolitan areas too
