Six kilos of pears peeled and cored and on their way to becoming chutney. Another 9 kilos in bags waiting to be done. Probably 30 kilos more on the tree!

Two big jam pans filled with pears, sultanas, vinegar, sugar and spices, yum yum!

This is VERY strange. A lid in my jar box with a handwritten label "Raspberry Jam 1/7/95". I've no idea where it came from. I certainly wasn't making jam in 1995. Still, the gasket looks good, so on it goes.

All done for the time being. Nineteen jars of chutney, ready to eat for Xmas.
