The reason they get "free" food is because our stupid system doesn't allow asylum seekers to work. So what are they supposed to do, starve?

These are people who have petitioned for asylum and are waiting the results. They're in a horrible state of limbo. It our system processed them at any speed, it would be more humane and we wouldn't have so many Schrödinger's refugees for these bigots to latch onto.
