Oh for sure! Even with that I avoid putting anything dead centre. Especially as you don't know what later editions you might have (hardcovers etc).
At the very least, add gutter space in the centre to account for what's lost in the spine (DSTLRY templates have different left and right pages to compensate).

It's actually astounding how Labour has managed to go further on anti-migrant, anti-trans etc policies in a year than the Conservatives did in 14. The way they so cavalierly talk about circumventing human rights for migrants, trans and non-binary individuals etc is beyond even the last government.
Just to be absolutely clear, this is the Labour government, categorically, and unambiguously, stating that human rights are predicted upon where you are born. That's the outcome of this.
Article 8 of the ECHR is the protection on which not only all positive trans law rests but also most LGB rights to, as well as those of families where one parent wasn't born in the UK. It prevents asylum seeking families from being split. It is utterly monstrous for Labour to want to weaken rights.
