It's not as if we don't have several elections where trying to be a less-offensive version of the GOP proved unsuccessful. It's why I despise everybody doing "Make X Y Again" campaigns or using red hats for merch. Cut that shit out. Forge your own way. Newsom is terrible AND unoriginal!
