Last semester my journo writing prof assigned a simple headline homework and got 6 identical answers. Was sure it was AI & emailed students. But turns out she gave everyone very detailed rules about the headlines and the same article to a large class. Kids are alright, at least in this instance!

There are only so many words and they can only go into a few orders in a short headline, so this tracks.

Yep. I know AI use has happened in other classes, but it would be 🍌 to use it on such a short assignment.
