I waited for months after starting my current job to get it (started March 2021), and it still blows my mind that there were people IN INPATIENT HEALTHCARE SETTINGS, that were just like “no, and how dare you???”

Nurses/Drs here in BC are still trying to sue hospitals because they chose not to vaccinate themselves and then were told they couldn't practice at the hospital anymore. How they could watch people die how people die from covid and then say no to getting it is beyond me.

My mom worked in the Covid ward at her hospital and apparently almost lost her job when she tore into one of those doctors. The only reason she didn't get fired (allegedly) was she's the most senior nurse in her hospital and helped train most of the doctors on staff

It was mandatory here for all healthcare workers in the early years. I might have told one of the staff who said they would quit if forced to get vaccinated to eat a bag of dicks.
