I seem to remember that @amyfuller.bsky.social wrote a very amusing thread about the transformation and marketisation of Postman Pat, back in the Twitter days. Funny/interesting to see it becoming scholarship!

My Twitter thread was very much fuelled by sleep deprivation & exasperation at my at-the-time toddler’s insistence that we watch it. Pat is the most useless dickhead. I started it 8 years ago & I had to start it again 4 years later when kid 2 also made me watch it 😭 x.com/amyfullermor...
