I need to be better about documenting our harvest. So far in our freezer, storage, or stomachs -- blueberries, raspberries, peas, beans, asparagus, broccoli, potatoes, onions (today), and strawberries. Tomatoes and cucumbers coming on strong with lbs of blueberries yet to pick. Good times!

Today's onion harvest is laid out to finish in the warm garage.

Thanks. I've been a gardener for over 60 years. Had some failures again this year (carrots & multiple rows of peas did not sprout; cauliflower all leaves, no heads; & 3 of our fruit covered raspberries- up and died. I'll figure all this out some decade. Maybe I should just stick to marigolds. 🤔

Your marigolds look great! Sorry about the failures but it is comforting to know that someone as experienced as you still experiences some setbacks. Mother Nature always has a few tricks up her sleeve no matter how many bases you cover. Last year a hail storm took out most of my winter squash.

Oh, yeah. Forgot about the summer squash. Thriving plants, few buds. Only 2 - 6" squash so far. Better soil, same watering cycle, & organic fertilizer in the same 8-hour plus sun location as the previous year's bountiful harvest spot. A curveball in every game. 😉
