Many of us living day to day in this circus are with you. I feel bad for all those businesses who will be impacted. However, we have an obligation to protect visitors from the craziness created by a cult that could have been sidelined IF all the non-voters had voted and if the others had a brain.

Someone surely is working on a facial recognition program that starts with the eyes and takes into account the hills and valleys of a face under a mask to figure out a probable identity. Then, with a bit of open source AI searching. Wallaa! Could be a very useful tool.

As an old-school web developer, I also miss those days. Speeds were slow, so pages were much simpler. This morning loaded a bank's page that took several minutes over a 4G connection & was so loaded with garbage, it took several minutes to find a link to the customer service phone #.

Good on the Blue Nose. And though the world's version of a "cancel culture" is impacting many businesses in our area - we need this to grow to anger folks into action and not a "whoa is me" attitude. We must all be part of the change to save our democracy & the rights of ALL who reside here.

More & more color is showing up each day. By next week we'll be in full bloom - much of it lasting until late Sept. (See ALT) Even at Falls' end, no cleanup. The dead foliage is left as bug habitat & flower seeds are left for the overwintering birds. Our biggest cleanup is in early spring.

I went out this afternoon to check the situation. The bee carcass was nowhere to be found. The crab spider was none too happy I spotted her next to a Meyer lemon flower. She raised her legs menacingly as I approached her hiding spot with my camera. Amazing how she blends into the flower colors.

Little in the garden goes to waste. A honey bee at the end of her life rested her last on a Meyer lemon flower. A female crab spider (white-banded?) found & claimed her body for a few meals. Sorry for the low resolution. It was getting dark when I spotted the bee, then the spider.
