Just throwing that suggestion into the mix as I had a different idea. When I first read it a month ago, I didn't like the idea of someone validating my existence, but I guess no more than any folk liking the idea of having their existence validated. We exist. Our gender identities are valid. 🏳️‍⚧️🙂
