Not at all, you weren't insensitive. It was earlier this year so I've recovered. Every encounter we have as trans folk is loaded with the possibility of unexpected questions about our gender. I'm learning from experience what I'll tolerate. Unsure I'd be comfortable answering those questions again.๐
Wish I'd said that! Unfortunately it was 2am and I was doubled over in pain on my bathroom floor after vomiting for 2 hrs when they were interrogating me. I wasn't completely sure of my own name at that point. It was my first time calling them so I'll be better prepared if there's a next time. ๐
Rang 111 Wales over stomach complaint. Was asked, "What was your gender assigned at birth?", "Do you still identify as that gender?" Confused why nonclinical admin needed my gender. If my health issue was gender-specific, a trained clinical professional could ask whether my body has a womb, etc. ๐ค๐

I disabled my "smart" TV. Apps were rubbish. My aerial became obsolete at digital switchover and I haven't used my Freesat box in 5+ yrs. My dish will become obsolete in 2026 anyway as satellites reach end of life. All I use now is my FireTV Stick. I have a Roku Stick but don't use it right now. ๐

The Liberal Democrats welcome this first step but urge Keir Starmer to go further and recognise Palestine immediately. Far greater action is also needed to address the humanitarian disaster in Gaza, including fully ceasing arms sales and imposing sanctions on the Israeli cabinet.
