I humbly invite you to visit the fair City of Edinburgh, if you haven't already. It's one of the greenest cities there is. Trees everywhere. Except for the igneous outcrops, and the odd poorly conceived urban development.
For sure. Just going through google street view the actual streets themselves are very empty of trees. It’s not just Edinburgh. Many places are like that. Example:
I think you need to understand Edinburgh. This street is South Bridge. It's built entirely on raised brick arches. Again,not suited to trees. Eye-roll.
Typical blocks. Zero trees along any of the streets. (I’m talking about trees along streets not the green space flanking this area). I don’t understand

This is Princes Street Gardens. Literally the city centre. The Castle towers above it. I can hardly think of any place with more green spaces than Edinburgh.
