The excuse will come in the future, when Israel has killed all democratic attempts in Syria, and some fanatics have taken power by blaming Israel for everything bad and attack them. Then Israel will say: "See! We knew it! Terrorists, all along!" It worked fine against Palestine.

I saw a representative on the Syrian Druze population talking on tv , he did talk of the problems his people were facing but said ' none of us asked for Israel to come to our aid '
