Makes it abundantly clear that this was never about making people use the toilets of their "birth gender", and all about making non-conforming people disappear completely. Because otherwise the reaction would have been "Oh, you're using the correct bathroom, very good!"
Yes. I’m still at a loss as to what those advocating for this have achieved. I think it is a very rare thing that a cis man would go to the trouble of dressing as a woman to attack someone in the women’s loo, as opposed to just waiting outside dressed as themselves. I think I would understand it ..
…if women were only ever, mostly were, assaulted by a man dressed as a woman in the loo & not the 1000 other places that they are attacked. And now, a woman is more likely to see a transgender man who looks like a man in the loo & people like this person get attacked because they’re different 🤷♀️
