Funding is the tough part. We've got the tech and an approach that we think works, but there's a long road to bringing this stuff to market. The other issue being, without child labor, the Roblox model doesn't work. So you're left with the much more curated approach that Minecraft etc. has.
And VCs most often don't want to hear that. They want to hear instead how you've found a way to make child labor sound more palatable and ethical, because that's much more scalable.
Yeah, and there's this issue of, kids WANT to be able to make their games, and share them, and that's part of the appeal to them it seems. But like. If their games ARE the platform, then they're labor. If it's a side thing but still the main draw, they're still labor.
