I did sort of look for one when I bought my car, mostly for nostalgia for my old Subaru Justy but also because I really had heard from a ton of people that it can deter theft and a friend of mine had recently had their car stolen 3 times in one year

like, i would drive every internal combustion car with it forever if i could. but i would not talk much about this preference.
oh yeah I don't need or even really know about the performance advantages. I just haul computer parts and groceries in 12 mph PDX highway traffic with mine. It really is just a meaningless but fun little thing in a world that's increasingly taking human control away from everything
the other thing I wanted was as little computer/automated shit in my car as possible and this one fit the bill along those lines too, it doesn't even have power windows
