I always vote Republican in the primary. I’ll choose Cornyn over Paxton, then vote for the Dem in the general. Honestly, whomever wins the GOP primary usually wins the seat. That’s the most important race & has the lowest voter turnout.

I'd rather have ranked-choice voting, neutral districting commissions, and instant recall: 50% of the given voting electorate can vote "no confidence" in a given representative. If they succeed, the rep is tossed and a special election is called. There's other good ideas, but word count.
