died, of course; separated from their families and lived ones, alone apart from those working on the ward - those dressed in plastic pinnies and cloth masks as they held up tablets and 'phones so that they could say their final goodbyes. 3/3

My experience too. I still think about some of the patients who were transferred out when we ran out of space & options on a regular ward. I hope they made it - I’ll never know.
