No we aren’t. They have no power right now. And they’re losers. You can prove it with paper and pencil. Political ideology aside, they’re just garbage at bringing home the win. We can’t afford that. Look at where it brought us to. They will not save us in 2028, just as they didn’t in 2020.
This doesn’t have to be the politics of settling for less. Of picking from two evil candidates. They’ve just tricked us into doing that. It’s called “competing autocracies” in political science. That’s our current cycle. We have to break it. I will advocate for my state to consider its options.
