Either the Rwandan genocide and the Gaza genocide are both genocides or neither are. But if a genocide in response to a literal civil war is a genocide, then Israel’s response to a single terrorist attack cannot possibly be anything other than genocide.

That they function equally-well as an indictment of how neurotypicals treat autists just serves to reinforce my point that people actually do understand autism; they keep writing autists into scripts without even realizing that’s what they’re doing. I’ve always read the droids as being the obviously discriminated-against subordinate class of equal intelligences. They’re an allegory. To things like the Upstairs/Downstairs life in the UK, or slavery, or any of a host of examples from history. How do people not get this? Star Wars isn’t subtle.

Genocide in response to a single terrorist attack can’t be justified if genocide in response to a civil war can’t. Israel loves to try to claim their genocide of the Palestinian people is allowable as a response to a single attack. But that argument would justify the Rwandan genocide. So.

Never forget that the Rwandan genocide, where the Hutu murdered over a million Tutsi. They did so as the direct result of the Tutsi carrying out a literal civil war against the Hutu. Even in response to a civil war, genocide is not valid. Genocide is always wrong. Even in response to a literal war.

Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, scholars' association says Israel has strongly denied that its actions in Gaza amount to genocide and says they are justified as self defense. It is fighting a case at the International Court of Justice. Genocide justification is the claim that a genocide is morally excusable/defensible, necessary, and/or sanctioned by law.[1] Genocide justification differs from genocide denial, which is an attempt to reject the occurrence of genocide. Perpetrators often claim that genocide victims presented a serious threat, justifying their actions by stating it was legitimate self-defense of a nation or state. According to modern international criminal law, there can be no excuse for genocide.[2][3] Genocide is often camouflaged as military activity against combatants, and the distinction between denial and justification is often blurred.[4]

A policy the Republicans did kill in 1876 in exchange for the Presidency for Hayes.

Democrats should be promising out loud that they’ll burn the painting the next day they’re in charge. Won’t even wait the night. Just an immediate order “burn the painting of Lee in a bonfire celebration of the US Army’s great victory over him.”

Businessmen Republicans kicked the socialists (the “Radical Republicans” who ended slavery) out of their party and sold out the South to the confederates in 1876 in exchange for the Presidency for Republican Rutherford B. Hayes, of the awful state of Ohio. The two parties aren’t much different.

3/ general. In the decades that followed basically no general staffs studied Lee's battles and strategies. On the contrary for the next half century and longer general staff's around the world studied Grant and Sherman and to a lesser extent other generals under their command.

Collaborators gonna collaborate. Also they’ll get what collaborators always get, after this is all over.

Looks like the Providence police are collaborators. Okay. We know what happens to collaborators and their families too.

I’ve been saying this literally for years. Their bad COVID response in America is purely because many American leaders are eugenicists. Those who aren’t seek to think, as Malthus infamously did, that the solution to the world’s problems is massive depopulation. Evil bedfellows.

One thing Sensible Centrists refuse to acknowledge - and this was true during covid when people were also saying this stuff explicitly - is these people are eugnenicists who welcome a good plague to get rid of the old, botched, and bungled

Confirming you’re an asshole, thanks. Also an idiot. Probably neurotypical but accusing someone of that is beyond the pale even for me.

I’ve heard from a couple of messaging strategists now that people shouldn’t post so much about COVID19 vaccines because it’s “divisive”. I am here to say that I do not give a damn what is popular. I will never ignore scientific evidence for the sake of expediency, and neither should anyone else.

The most insulting part of the whole Chorus thing is how boring it is. Like, that kind of base corruption is child’s level corruption. Middle school cliques have more sophisticated requirements for shills than the Chorus people. Just so boring. Yawn. Wake me when these political children grow up.

They act like guilty people with power act. Exactly like that. That’s because they’re guilty of being paid shills. Paid shills are as old as politics. I’m honestly bored at how pedestrian the corruption is. Millions of examples from history. They couldn’t even innovate? Come on. Skill issue there.

I have also been terminally online for my entire adult life following politics. And you’re fucking crazy if you think that Chorus is even the only one of these. Them closing ranks and attacking a woman for telling on them is absolutely confirmation evidence of their guilt. Also I’m a lawyer. So.
