Maybe just takes time for the disparate EU and the UK to align and in the meantime Farage and his cohorts will do everything possible to stymie such an outcome.

The EU is not disparate with maybe the exception of Hungary but come on - you can’t expect to be welcomed back when you have so egregiously acted in bad faith. That’s not Starmer’s fault… that’s more down to Farage.
