Okay spoiler alert my hometown is Hastings, Minnesota. Synchronicities, coincidences, serendipities and whatnot suffuse my life now, on average I have a dozen to three dozen preposterous things happen per day, so Iβm just trying to roll with it. Anyhow, fantastic cover art, I love it.

Okay so this is silly. Virgo is associated with Demeter, goddess of harvest, because she presides over virgin⦠wheat. Pffffft. Hestia makes much more sense. OR Astraea daughter of titans Astraeus (winds) and Eos (dawn). She was a virgin, hung out with humans, got bored, became a constellation.

Astraea is also looked at sometimes as equivalent of Dike, child of Zeus and Themis, who is a justice goddess that Libra is based off of. Iβm not going to have any comment on the βvirginβ goddess Astraea being uhhhh Dike. Means nothing. Totally nothing. β€οΈπ§‘π€ππ

There are a good half dozen gods, goddesses, titans and mortals that have some name variation of The Star, *including* Astarion, who was the stepdad to King Minos, marrying Europa who had to deal with Zeusβs bull. The Minotaur also was sometimes called Astarion, after his step-granddad.

Okay so Hestia is the oldest sibling of Cronus and Rhea: 1) Hestia 2) Demeter 3) Hera 4) Hades 5) Poseidon 6) Zeus Cronus eats all of kids except for Zeus. Who gets raised to give Cronus an emetic so he barfs up his kids. Then they have a war. Hestia was in the gastric juices the longest.
