They say these same things every time they do these sweeps and it’s horseshit
So it’s in your opinion based off the past , this isn’t based on facts of the potential of now ? Especially if he is making noises like he wants to run for president- Ok got it -
I don't know the exact number, but let's say he's done this 10 times before, but this time he says, "I'll do it right this time" Do you trust him to do it right the 11th time when he said the same thing 10 times before?
I’m a Marylander so I don’t know Newsom’s history as well as others do. That’s why I asked. Is there a reliable source for these past actions? Where people were kicked out of encampments with no alternative or resources offered? Would definitely want to know about that if he runs for POTUS.
His own website claims they have removed 81 Homeless encampments The goal has never been to help these people; he just wants to force them into worse situations so they 'disappear' or make California so hostile to them they have to leave.
It's based on what Newsom has done in the past, yes. He's a garbage person with garbage values and anyone who supports him is AT BEST an ignorant rube, and more likely they're also garbage people.
He has already done this and it turned out the same way. Why would it be any different now?
Not saying it won’t be but does seem short sighted if he really plans on running for President cause that gives his opponent in primaries loads of ammo to use on him and red meat for republicans should he gain the nomination .. just saying seem a huge miscalculation on his part
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me every time you promise to be different and I slurp it up, shame on… people questioning when I’ll stop slurping it?
He’s trying to appeal to centrists and “undecideds” and liberals who don’t like to think about what being homeless really means because it’s too soul-breaking. He’s counting on people just seeing him as “not Trump” and that’s not going to be enough people to win.
Now that’s fair point to raise , just seems like a huge oversight especially in the age now where people find anything out about a person ex: people find 10-15 yr old tweets by people that they said or agreed with something stupid - yrs ago that’s all
It’s not an oversight it’s a strategy
Yes past behaviour informs our present Do you trust everything a politician says?
