The WNBA loses money. The NBA has to subsidize it, just so it can stay solvent. They are expected to turn a profit for the first time next year.

Interesting. I did some quick research. Their CBA, seemingly caps player salaries at 9.3% of revenue? But if revenue is in the red…that makes more sense. Thanks.
