Some of us have been watching Newsom since he was on the San Francisco County Board of Supervisors more than 25 years ago. We know that he operates not on principle but rather on opportunity, and we know what will happen the first time the wind blows from an unfavorable direction. SYDH about that.
Well, all I see, from an external perspective, is that he is devastatingly effective at eviscerating Trump. Whether you like it or not, you need him right now.
Is he doing a good job of mocking Trump? It sure seems so. Does that make him a qualified candidate? I wouldn't be so sure.
You could be right. Still, you need someone to step up. Soon.
