I had poodle who only sang one song: "Well you needn't " by Monk. My father was playing it on his clairnet downstairs. He looked at me, and his mind told me he knew that song and ran down to sing it with my pop.

When I was a Student at NE Conservatory I transcribed the Theme from 'Get Smart'. It is more complex than you think. I have perfect pitch so it was an exercise in patience to listen to it on repeat! I would never attempt Thelonious!!!
