I checked out what the stores are offering for Spook Season this year, and I am relieved that nothing is really lighting me up but a couple *maybe* items. I think that shows growth and discernment. I am becoming more naturally drawn to things that I think I will love and utilize for decades to come.

Now that you mention it….you are right! Some of it struck me as little girl Halloween who wants cute not horror or something.
I'm glad the stuff exists for the people that enjoy it, but it is taking over, and that sucks. It's not like the dark stuff doesn't sell well!
That’s true. The Halloween aesthetic I liked last year is gone this year. I’m probably just a bit salty.
