Isolation will kill a rattie spirit, so I created a convalescent corner in the big cage with easy access to food, water, and a couple bed areas. Rumble has been all up on him during the listless times, which is so lovely to see. #Rats can have strong emotions and bonds for sure. (2/2)
I just lost a boy who was around 3 1/2. He had a heart condition and was showing more signs with time. He was more sedentary and slow, sleeping a lot. His brother was on him like glue all the time. They form such deep bonds.
So, so sorry for your loss. I am glad he had a brother that was there for him. I am glad they had you. <3
I hope Frenzy will get better, soon ❤️ It's so sweet to see Rumble care about him. Some people will not see rats as fitting pets. But I think they're some of the best pets imaginable.
