It's so conversational to me, but there's no conversation, and they took it in an oddly dark and personal direction. I hope the person does better with social interactions offline. I could see this style not going over well at all IRL.

I meet people like this all the time somehow. I’m under the impression they are not aware that their opinion is unwarranted & feel they are contributing something. When pulled aside and told they’re making people uncomfortable they tend to get defensive. I don’t know if that applies to this person.
