Head Engineer - Blinky Light Dept. @cppilgram.bsky.social

The fact that they spent paragraphs glossing this dude with the body of his long-missing son in a treehouse on his property is wild. THIS SHOULD NOT BE A QUESTION SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE TO BE PROMPTED TO ADDRESS!

Update: Numerous readers have asked questions about the circumstances surrounding the death of Frantz's son. Decaturish has contacted the family to request more details. here is the full incident summary Lt. Bender provides to Decaturish: (Poster's note: the explanation given by police is that the body is being examined and no other details of any relevance are provided.)

The poison has infected people far and wide in this country: a poison of apathy towards life and being human.

Whyyyyy is no one concerned about the skeletonized remains? They don’t even quote the sister about her own brother’s death. WTAF?

How did the sister recognize her brother's SKELETON?

Carole Landrith Hanna @caroleland.bsky.social

It probably still had clothing and/or jewelry on that could have identified him. Also they would have looked up any missing persons report that was made and maybe the clothes matched what he was last known to be wearing. Maybe.

Rachel Manija Brown @rachelmanija.bsky.social

Seems odd that the article said she recognized the skeleton rather than recognized its clothing/jewelry. Especially since he'd been missing for for four years. Did he go straight to the tree house in the clothes he wore when he disappeared, die there, and no one checked for four years?

It’s going to be very interesting to see how it plays out! Since he was an adult when he went missing, I doubt that checking the treehouse would have been the same as if he had been a child. Who knows??? We will have to keep an eye on this story!
