My daughter has been wonderful, but I feel guilty for not being stronger for her. I had her at 39 and her and my mom were close because the other grandkids are in their 40s with kids and live in different cities.

You lost your mother! I’m sure she understands. I’m sure she’s more resilient than it seems. You’re lucky you have each other. You can both be there for each other. I have my sister. We go through it together. Family is so important in this context.
