My daughter has been wonderful, but I feel guilty for not being stronger for her. I had her at 39 and her and my mom were close because the other grandkids are in their 40s with kids and live in different cities.

Given the direction the country is going, I would take the $1M US and leave the country. Wherever I landed, I would invest the rest.
