Just my opinion, and not knowing the original plan, but I would have viewed a larger piece as just another street scene, whereas this really touches me because it feels like you captured a real moment in time. The focus on the guy w/o an umbrella is incredible thinking on your part. Excellent work!

Very much so. So many paintings, pictures never “feel” quite right. And most desktop wallpapers are so irksome they cause physical reactions and discomfort. But this just causes a calm. The colors are muted enough. Just enough detail to not be stark and yet not a blurry recollection. Tranquil.
