Shit. I said Civil War when I meant Winter Soldier. I liked both but yes, what I meant to say was Winter Solider was my favorite of the MCU movies. And as a follow up to Winter Soldier, Brave New World didn't live up to it. We need more of the political thriller type movie back in the MCU.
I think that's what they tried to do with Brave New World, but then they added a red hulk, new Falcon etc etc. it was a lot easier when there wasn't an overpowered baddie quota MCU movies had to fulfill. (Thunderbolts/Sentry, BNW/Red Hulk, BP2/Namor.)
I'm not fully awake after metal festival > wrestling show >2 hour drive back > sleeping until 11am. Anyway, yeah, greta trilogy all around. We need more of that type of thing in whatever phase this is.
