Not a single child lost its life in a UK school since 1996 to a firearm. Between 1947 and 1996 the total was 23. This includes the perpetrators. It’s not difficult to achieve. You just have to be willing. The USA is unwilling.

Our Congress is owned, corrupt, and our system broken. I'm in my seventies. I have personally been at a workplace murder-suicide, an armed robbery at a store, and a college incident n which the professor was permanently paralyzed by an angry student all from guns. #america

The trauma this brings on a national level, day in, day out is immeasurable. I can’t imagine how that affects you. I simply can’t begin to process or calculate. I’m happy to take a DM. I’m not religious but send heartfelt blessings.

I am now a Buddhist. My first year of college our government killed students at Kent State. This nation, indeed many colonial western nations, have a long history of violence. Unfortunately the US as a very capitalist society seems stuck. Trump is a world threat. Thank you for your kind words. 🙏🌸

I’m fascinated by Buddhism. I like the fact that it’s almost a non-religion. Violence has no place in a civil society. I’ve abhorred it all my life. I’m 56.

I find if I practice the teachings it calms the storms around me. I do of course get angry as we all do but I am able to remember what insignificance to the whole I am. We are all connected.
