This is an obvious open goal. But there’s no striker to finish it.
They don’t seem to be able to get their media teams to coordinate on one strategy or even tactic. And when they do, it’s mostly preaching to the converted. One or two can see where the fight is, but on the whole it’s sloppy, unfocused and ineffective.
I can’t wait to see Gavin Newsom’s team publish a “Where’s Trump?” in the style of Where’s Waldo (Wally). But not actually put Trump in the image.

To me the over sharing is disturbing. In most cases I have no interest in other people’s lives. The petty one-upmanship is reflective of a society that seems to want to show more, as opposed to be more. It’s nauseating. It supports the notion of trickle down economics; we are all poorer for it.
I don’t have an account on there, but my sense is that people love to live vicariously, praise and attempt to emulate celebrity and status. Nothing I do in life would be enhanced by posting on there, and whilst I believe this is true for everyone, I’m just as certain they would disagree.

In terms of seizures of weapons, this has been successfully implemented elsewhere. Admittedly it’s a scalar problem for the USA, but you don’t even try.
There are laws in the UK that are derived from centuries old texts, but we interpret them for today. Nobody said it would be easy. But if, as a nation, the USA chooses guns over people, this isn’t actually about statute or constitution, it’s that you chose to kill children. It is a choice.
