They don’t seem to be able to get their media teams to coordinate on one strategy or even tactic. And when they do, it’s mostly preaching to the converted. One or two can see where the fight is, but on the whole it’s sloppy, unfocused and ineffective.

I can’t wait to see Gavin Newsom’s team publish a “Where’s Trump?” in the style of Where’s Waldo (Wally). But not actually put Trump in the image.

We like to call this progress. As an electronics engineer I could tell you about the many complex layers of protection that are built into these systems. Please do attend a four year course and come back to tell us what you’ve learned about how these systems are safe to use.

Maybe @thegodpodcast.com is just flexing his muscles, tightening his aim, practice shot for the another target…

Apparently his son confuses the word ‘toughest’ with the word ‘vilest’. "As a son, I can tell you that I'm honored to have a Dad that I can call the toughest SOB I've ever seen," Andrew Giuliani.

Very odd that Trump isn’t there. These are his people.

If her face wasn’t plastic, and her heart made of stone she wouldn’t be able to say these things without breaking into laughter. You’ve got to be clinically insane or severely delusional to believe this. What has the country become?
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
Pretty soon other countries are going to put health based limitations on US Citizens travelling to their countries.

I reported it to Bluesky moderation as misleading.

To me the over sharing is disturbing. In most cases I have no interest in other people’s lives. The petty one-upmanship is reflective of a society that seems to want to show more, as opposed to be more. It’s nauseating. It supports the notion of trickle down economics; we are all poorer for it.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
I don’t have an account on there, but my sense is that people love to live vicariously, praise and attempt to emulate celebrity and status. Nothing I do in life would be enhanced by posting on there, and whilst I believe this is true for everyone, I’m just as certain they would disagree.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
Badenoch is an obnoxious person. Targets are always impossible to achieve if you do nothing towards them or only act against the aim. Thankfully, and in agreement with another comment here, she is unelectable.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
I mean, this is great. But you’re only realising it now? Trump is the man that sells fake snake oil to the snake oil salesperson.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
It did present that way, as if they were paying last respects. But then again, they’re always weird.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
Are you certain he’s dead? Bang! Yes. What now?
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
He probably had a couple of nice days down in Bryan, TX. For no particular reason at all. Just catching up with an old and dear friend.

I believe the subsidies for this are being reduced in the UK. This is hopefully going to push it the same way as coal. Of course Draz itself was converted to biomass from coal. I love this real time tool from Kate Morley: grid.iamkate.com

I posted a link to the map location of where I believe the store is located. Is a suburb of Albany, NY. Maybe Sam’s club will remove his membership as this act was conducted on their property, if someone close by could enquire.

Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
I genuinely believe this. Whatever it is, it’s the same or worse than what happened at Epstein’s places. It’s been a long term compromise operation to get him into power. Putin is an intelligence officer through and through. Trump is completely owned by Russia. EU leaders are saying it in public.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent

China’s advantage, which could also be the USA, is on the longer routes where replacing air travel becomes logical. France, where HSR flourishes, has banned flights under 2.5 hours in favour of rail. The reduction of environmental impact is significant.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
Similarly there isn’t much progress in the UK. We had a train that ran at 125 mph since 1979. But since then, improvements in speed have been slow. We do have some at 186 mph, and HS2 line will improve that.

Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
I’d like to see his state visit to the UK next month cancelled. Nobody wants him on UK soil and it will cost us 10s of millions in security costs. We could have a new hospital for that money. We should not be giving credence to this regime. We wouldn’t have invited Hitler to dinner.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
How that **** Farage gets on the air, I have no idea. The man is dangerously stupid. He has robbed every UK citizen of a multitude of rights and GDP. Complete charlatan. It’s personality politics; the same that dragged the USA into the mess it’s in. The BBC should know better.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
Yes. I wrote directly to the BBC about this. You can also message @bbcdaniels.bsky.social on here. How a tiny minority party with only 4 MPs is being given 80% of the political airtime is beyond me. BBC. Get your act together.

Beijing’s streets and quiet and clean due to the switch to EVs. Not just passenger cars; full size trucks, busses, scooters, bikes, mini cargo vehicles. Their EV manufacturers are taking a dominant and increasing market share globally because they already achieved production at massive scale.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
China has already built an electric dependent infrastructure. Their current high speed rail system operates at 220 mph. There are nearly 30,000 miles of track, most with a design speed of 240 mph. The latest Acela maxes out at 160 mph but only on 40 of a total of 450 miles of service.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
And the Trump administration is making every effort to return to the age of coal. Regression is real. Where another state is forging ahead with solar, wind and is making strides in fusion technology whilst programs are axed and research cancelled the outcome is already determined.

This is the fundamental asinine position that prevents me and my American family from returning to the USA.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
Oh bless you.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
Oh dear, no. Your basal response. A great insight into the psychology of a nation that chooses to kill its own citizens in droves.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
None were dumb enough to let that happen in the first place. But there are 340m of you. And you have two hands each. You don’t even try. Because you want them. America is afraid of itself.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
Indeed, good point. That’s why semi and fully automatic weapons were banned in the UK. Along with handguns. And reducing rifles, for legal purposes, to single round. Shotguns to three. Maybe try just some of those?
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
It would make for a good deal of metal products. It’s unwillingness. As you are very clearly demonstrating. Even using my arguments with another. The USA does not want to get rid of guns. If it did, they would be gone.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
So get rid of them.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
And there it is…
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
Yes they did. Because they wanted the guns to go. They, as nations, decided that they should go. The USA does not hold this position and is unwilling to enact change.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
And your population is nearly 5 times as great. It’s about proportions, not numbers.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
So there’s a straightforward argument that it doesn’t apply in today’s society. Hole dug.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
In terms of seizures of weapons, this has been successfully implemented elsewhere. Admittedly it’s a scalar problem for the USA, but you don’t even try.
Steve (@rapidlydownhill.bsky.social) reply parent
There are laws in the UK that are derived from centuries old texts, but we interpret them for today. Nobody said it would be easy. But if, as a nation, the USA chooses guns over people, this isn’t actually about statute or constitution, it’s that you chose to kill children. It is a choice.
