You know how I'm into brain pushups? Learning Spanish via Duolingo and all that? Well, there's a class here in Lamar put on by the CSU Extension office for Spanish language folks adding English to their personal database, and they have been kind enough to let me audit it.

One of my minor difficulties is that I had three years of French in school, and a short course in German in the 80s. So when I try to think of a word, my brain helpfully pops up French or German possibilities that don't really help. (Yes, I did understand your reply!)
We use erasable marker boards for answering questions. Last night one thing we did was try to use variations on a common verb in a sentence. (I write mine in Spanish, of course.) So for this one, we used 'to drink'. My answer here says: "I want to drink a glass of juice -- with vodka."
