Except where was CUPE to allow the F.A to work hours without pay? That was one of their beefs right? How many contracts were negotiated/signed and this wasn't mentioned? There was another path ... work to rule. Been used many times over the years. CUPE has some resposibility here.

It took the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) 28 years to secure equal pay for female postal workers. The original claim of discriminated dates back to 1983. The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal finally ruled in the workers' favour in 2005.
