Secession is illegal/unconstitutional. The last time it was tried, it cost ~750k lives. States have been petitioning Congress to allow them to secede for decades to no avail. When states are admitted to the Union the union is permanent. Destroying our constitutional republic is illogical.

The collapse of the dollar if the US dissolves would create a crisis that would spread around the world. Be careful of the choices you want to make, there may be significant consequences. We've survived other threats to our democratic republic, hopefully we survive this one.

Yes, all kinds of things are illegal these days. But people (even our president) seem to do them anyway. Not sure I put much faith in the "it's illegal" argument. Hopefully, the more blue states are bled dry - more people wont either.
