All of Los Angeles was 'destroyed' just like all of Portland, Minneapolis and other cities were totally destroyed during the 2020 George Floyd protests.
Americans are more afraid of European style socialism than they are of European style fascism.
Those living in poverty do not always have an option to pull up stakes and move to a new location. We should stop subsidizing corporations and giving billionaires tax breaks. We're in a jam right now but we should plan for a time when we're not on the brink of fascism.

There is no provision for holding elections out of the cycles established by the Constitution. The only way F47 can be replaced is if he is impeached and voted out of office (highly unlikely w current Congress). There's also resignation, death, or the 25th Amendment if he becomes more incapacitated.
What comes next? Perhaps an executive order abolishing the 19th Amendment?

Everything is connected. I've observed a significant decline in the speed of the jet stream over the last several decades which is contributing to/causing severe weather extremes around the world. Humans may survive, our civilization won't.

The primary reason a university gets a patent is to continue research. It's illegal (w/o permission) to do research of a patented process. I've done research and part of our IP training included what we could/could not do. The patentholder can license whoever wants to use their patent w/wo fee.
