As the resident High Elf Enjoyer, I really hope Vereesa and Halduron interact when we inevitably deal with the high elf/blood elf divide in Midnight. They're such easy targets to bridge that divide given their pasts, and it gives Halduron a role that isn't just 'not Lor'themar'.

If Alleria's gonna be the space ranger superhero going out and doing void adventures, I think it only makes sense that Vereesa properly becomes the central figure for the Alliance's Thalassian elves going into Midnight. They're going to need *some* kind of leader for that story.
Plus, on a 'this would just be cool' level, there are two very Quel'thalas-relevant bows just laying around in the banks of hunter players, ready and waiting to be used in an expansion about defending the Sunwell. And these two are perfect candidates to wield both of them.
There's such a good story to tell with Alleria properly giving Thas'dorah to her sister, relinquishing that nostalgic tie to the old Quel'thalas, and embracing what she (and it) is now. And then in turn, Vereesa can fulfill the bow's promise alongside Halduron and their people.
And through having both Thas'dorah and Thori'dal existing as twin extensions of the Sunwell, it can be a representation of high elves and blood elves and their different paths. Not magically uniting as one group post-Midnight, but coming to an understanding of their differences.
We so far haven't heard anything about Vereesa or Halduron in Midnight, which has me just a *bit* worried lol. I really just hope we get a good old ranger plotline somewhere in Eversong during Midnight.

The pre-patch worries me.
Since they don't seem to be a focus in the initial Midnight content, I'm wondering if one of the big content patches might be High Elf focused instead?

I would also love if Halduron and Vereesa finally got new outfits after all this time They're both still stuck in TBC era gear, I can count the pixels, they deserve new looks
Was Vereesa ever pardon for her part in the Purge of Dalaran?, I expect the first thing to happen to her if she steps foot in Silvermoon is to be arrested and at least charge with pre meditated murder and maybe even Treason
