I was rereading The Lilac and the Stone, and after a full year and the majority of TWW's content now out, I think I can safely say that this was my favorite story of the xpac. Moira is just such a phenomenally complex character, and Dagran is starting off on such good footing.
I am hoping they return for more spotlight in Last Titan, since after the Khaz Algar storyline they kinda just fell off and then it was the Alleria and Arathi Hour until Undermine. Moira and Dagran would be great to see return, especially with Muradin if we get Frostborn story while in Northrend.
Absolutely. I would really chomp at the bit for a home-based political intrigue questline that takes the themes of this short story and fleshes out further with her and Dagran at the center.
Moira's always been a bit of a messy character prior to TWW, mainly because the writers didn't quite pin down if they wanted her to be a dwarf antagonist (Cata), *the* dwarf protagonist (MoP), or a supporting character (Legion). I love that this story gives her all three.
The spiteful rage she's felt and enacted is informed by the love she has for her people, the desire to be what Magni never wanted her to be. But ultimately, the tragedy is that the time for her to be what Dagran now is has passed: it's his turn now.
I'm so excited to see where Dagran goes past TWW. He feels very much like the modern equivalent of what Anduin was in Cata, and I can't wait to see what his 'MoP' moment is in the future. The Last Titan seems like the perfect opportunity for him to shine.
My money is he’ll be our resident tinker specialist along with Brinthe

I really enjoy them and would love for Dagran's story to keep evolving well past TWW.

Always love seeing Moira getting some story presence. She's one of the best Dwarf characters they've ever written, arguably I'd say one of the best written Dwarf characters across fantasy imo Her and Dagran are both awesome, loved their story in TWW
I was sad the dwarf/Earthen story just kind of dropped off after the initial story. I hope they are revisited, especially once we go back Northrend again. I was never a huge dwarf guy but they really grew on me this xpac. They were probably my favorite part ntil the goblins and ethereals came in.
