IDK, there's understated and then there's "this leveling set snuck in behind the Warlock set". It's just kinda blah, and I'm not a fan of the big doodad on top of the hood like a car ornament.

I mean shit man even you swapped that out for something else
I think the only thing is maybe making that breastplate have some 3d elements to it, but honestly- yeah, I don't see what people mean about it being bad. I kinda want to actually gear up a hunter so I can do some raids to get it!
Its got the boob holders. Its just a nice look!
i saw the mythic tier color set and instantly went "how do I get a majority of this for my infinite evoker" lol Alas no shirt but I can get those pants as a drop so I'm happy for that.
I love how simple a lot of these tier sets are. Like you can very easily take a couple pieces from these sets and mix them with others without clashing. The rogue set is also great for that. But they still look really clean as a full set too so it's not taking away from that.
I don't outwardly despise it, but I'm also a panda hunter and it kinda clashes with the vibe. Most hunter sets do. :x
i am currently farming that tint for my void elf tbh. only thing i wished is that they changed the energy colors so it didnt look like void across all of its tints outside of the one pvp tint
I love it. I love simpler designs. It is easier to transmog pieces to make it my own, and to feel more like a D&D character rather than an anime god.
Don't pass without helping my family in Gaza. We are in dire need of help. We trust you. Donate and share the content
Thats pretty good, i wouldnt exactly see it as hunter set myself, more of a higher quality cosmetic civilian/culturally set but that is good
My only real complaint is the chest could look better with that breastplate being 3D. It being flat just... ehh
Ok two complaints - why are all the jackets split like that? they were doing full backed longer ones, what happened to that
I dislike the idea that Tier sets have to be ridiculously flashy and full of huge chunks of metal to be "worthy" of coming from high end content. Leveling gear... looks really good! I'd love to get more of that simple, practical vibe, but with class-specific aesthetics.
(Also no, it is not a set that exclusively looks good on elves lol)
Is that a 1h sword on the Pandaren? I ask for future Demon Hunter related reasons
It goes super well on a Draenei Very Rangari look
Beautiful screenshots by the way (but you see, you had to remove the shoulders on the Draenei Male. Tauren & Orc would be same story)
I think the hunter set is one of the best tier sets we got all expac, and I am also getting really frustrated that people are like flashy = good. I'm worried with how this season's warlock set has been responded to, we're only gonna get monster-like tier sets and no Nerubar-like sets now 😭
I 100% like the less flashy vibe, I am all in favour for that. Simplicity is a plus! Make the lines more clear, and allow some choosen element to shine, instead of having noise...
I'd like a lot of tier sets more if we could TURN OF ALL THE NEON GLOWS! The Manaforge Paladin plate? Really cool! Aaand the shoulders glow like the sun... -sigh-
I agree. It was a great idea & had much potential. Unfortunaly -as I explained in my rating all sets videos- the shoulders are too large, and the hood design is ...bizarre It could have been such a nice set, for the reason you explain, but it's a bit of a miss. Can still be used as base for transmog
I really like the questing/outdoor sets this season and have been motivated to collect them (at least on mail)
Huge chunks of metal or a giant animal head on the shoulder.
I've heard so many people complain about hunter sets being all bones and dead animal bits until we get hunter sets WITHOUT bones and dead animal bits and then people complain the hunter set DOESN'T have bones and dead animal bits
I think if it was questing or dungeon gear people would like it a lot more
I like it! It's simple, but at least it doesn't have unnecessary crap bolted on, or look like an overthought gimmick - which hunter sets are prone to. It doesn't really stand out, but neither does it stand out in a bad way.
Midnight dumping a million elf sets on us we're never gonna hear the end of it
I don't even understand the whole mindset that we've gotten nothing but Elven ranger gear the past expacs... The few times we do, it's cool, but we really don't get Elven ranger gear as much as I've heard claimed honestly I'm painfully awaiting the complaints come Midnight
We had Legion's first tier set And Undermine And uhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I feel the same way about so many of the Paladin tier sets. Why does there *always* have to be some sort of crazy ornamentation on the helmets or shoulders these days? Sometimes I just wanna protect my dome!
Don't you want to live out your fantasy of having a horse mane, though?
IT'S NOT A GOOD LOOK FOR ME PORT
For me it's usually pretty rare that I see a Hunter set and say "I gotta get that" but this tier it was almost immediate. I love simple-looking sets, especially for hunters and warriors
The main critique im really hearing is that if you aren't a 'conventionally attractive race' it just isnt a tmog for you. Buuut I do agree with your take as well, its nice to just have a ranger esthetic mog
I'm actually a fan of the Hunter tier set, probably against the grain on this one I like how simple it looks, it's literally just a more general version of the same kind of ranger outfit Alleria wears, though with a bit more protection and it works so well It's also surprisingly versatile for mogs
In fact, from the chest and legs alone I've ended up seeing some of the best basic 'Ranger' outfits I've ever seen of late
It took me a bit, but. It's Alleria's outfit. That she's been wearing all expansion. The PvP set is the color of her Legion outfit. Several of the sets from this tier are references to other things, and they're all really good.
My beef with it is more that it fits with the elven/ not bulky race sort. For an elf, dwarf, Goblin and a few others, it’s pretty simple if pretty. For a male Orc like my Hunter, it’s kind of awkward.
Hard agree. 😄
And the mythic, with the CLEAN whites and blacks ala alleria?? It's peak, I don't get the hate for it
I personally like the 11.2 hunter armor
It's the only hunter set I've liked since I joined in BfA. Literally
