I started a Mafia 3 replay while I wait for Cronos

Nice, it’s been a long time but I remember having a decent time with that game. After most the bugs were fixed, of course.

Out of nowhere, I started playing Final Fantasy XIV. Felt like getting my MMO on!!! 😃🏹

Coincidentally I was listening to a podcast yesterday and they mentioned this game. How funny.

I was watching a Twitch Stream and ended up downloading it and joining their company. 😅

I am indeed. About 95 hours in so far. I'm going for the 100% which is going to mean a Ng+ playthrough after this run for a couple of trophies and there's also a new dlc coming out in a couple of weeks.

I’m currently playing the Definitive collection, which is all of them together but unfortunately it only has one Platinum for the whole lot. However you could play the older, individual versions for a Platinum each.

Not heard of this one, at first glance it reminds me of Vampire Survivors. As for me, finishing up a replay of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee.

Very similar to Vampire Survivors, not quite as good in my opinion, but still fun. Oh nice, Abe is a blast from the past, adored that game as a child!

It’s always a pleasure revisiting these games.

7 badges in this run, just getting a few team member up to speed before i blaze the story some more. I even have a pokemon prepped to interfere with Groudon and prime it for capture

I’ve only played Omega Ruby, put some time into it but ended up falling off it before I finished the main story. Had fun with what I did play, though.

Can relate a bit, i had a team in alpha sapphire and stopped midway. I think the og games just hits harder even if it's more grinding at times. The sprites really does it for me, playing the game in japanese really also test my knowledge and memorization skills 🤣

I actually don't know. I just plated Death Stranding 2...don't want to start anything too long due to Silent Hill and Tactics releasing at the end of the month. Might get the Days Gone PS5 plat to go with my PS4 plat. Got a physical version of the game for $10, so just need to pay $10 upgrade fee.

I’ve been keeping an eye out for a cheap copy of PS4 Days Gone but alas all the second-hand tech shops have caught on and put the price up. A year ago you could probably pick it up for a tenner.

I was lucky...I didn't think I'd find it for less than 20, but I did. Was ready to spend 20, but 10 is much better!

I restarted MGS5. I may try out Hollow Knight.

As much as I’d like to revisit MGSV, after the almost-150 hours I put in for the Platinum I don’t know how long I’d stick with it.

I have no interest in the Platinum. I don't remember much of the game other than it had. A more open map in a mission structure. After playing the intro yesterday, I'm not sure how much patience I'm going to have going forward. That intro is way too long. Considering replaying snake eater instead

The bulk of the MGSV Platinum journey is replaying the same missions over and over on harder modes and to get S rank. It’s not really too fun, if I’m honest.

Yeah that sounds like a horrid chore. I just wanted to replay for story content. I don't remember much of it. I played it years ago while my wife was still hospitalized and my memories are very spotty. I don't think I ever finished it. I don't recall ever getting to the twist, but I did roll credits

Story is probably the lightest part of this game, feels like a direct result to the reactions of MGS4 being so exposition heavy.

I can see that being the reason. MGS4 was very heavy.

Pretty sure it’s got a solid hour of cutscenes in the later half of the game.

That ending length is worthy of a theatre bucket of popcorn.
