I played the first one for the first time over a decade ago! Life sure comes at you fast.
I recommend these games between big games, especially if you’re looking for a palate cleanser.

Agreed. If the game is primarily a single-player experience and has a tacked-on multiplayer mode then I feel the MP trophies should be a DLC list. Like Ghost of Tsushima did for example.

Making progress on Season 2 of Telltale’s The Walking Dead. I played them all years ago, yet I’ve almost no memory of this season. It’s all good though, just means it’ll feel like a fresh experience. 👍

Taking your own lunch is mighty wise, and a great way to save money. The price some places charge for a sandwich you could buy all the components and make several yourself!
Couldn’t imagine not rolling into the final boss fight ludicrously overpowered because I did everything else first. 🤔
You can’t miss it, the game will tell you at moments when the next episode of DLC is available. Also, one of the DLCs can be started at a really good time in the game that enriches the story, in my opinion. This is, I think, the best way to play this game. Anyways, I digress. Enjoy!
The game is pretty long, and I played the DLC as and when it popped up in the main game. I found it was a great way to break it up and throw more variety into the experience. Your call of course but I recommend it.

I’m not really that much into Pokémon these days, I only casually dabble. Every few years I’ll pick one up when I get a nostalgic itch for the battles.
I’m currently playing the Definitive collection, which is all of them together but unfortunately it only has one Platinum for the whole lot. However you could play the older, individual versions for a Platinum each.

Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee replay done, and not only did I get the Platinum (again) but this time I rescued ALL 99 Mudokons too!

Pretty sure it’s got a solid hour of cutscenes in the later half of the game.
Story is probably the lightest part of this game, feels like a direct result to the reactions of MGS4 being so exposition heavy.
Can’t say the Persona games have ever grabbed my attention but I do respect how popular they are.
The bulk of the MGSV Platinum journey is replaying the same missions over and over on harder modes and to get S rank. It’s not really too fun, if I’m honest.
Well variety is the spice of life, as the saying goes.

Not heard of this one, at first glance it reminds me of Vampire Survivors. As for me, finishing up a replay of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee.
As much as I’d like to revisit MGSV, after the almost-150 hours I put in for the Platinum I don’t know how long I’d stick with it.
Nice, it’s been a long time but I remember having a decent time with that game. After most the bugs were fixed, of course.
I’ll get there one day, I’m saving it for a big milestone Platinum.

Pretty much. Just by calling the first one “volume 1” implies a possibility of 2, also at a press event they alluded to looking at other titles in the series for future re-release. So yeah, it’s likely gonna happen at some point.
I’ve yet to play the DS1 remake, but I have it and been deliberately saving it for spooky season. Last year I Platinum’d Callisto Protocol a few days before Halloween, then decided that was enough space horror for one year.

I’d really have to be in the mood for a full replay though. The Platinum took me best part of 200 hours, so… yeah. I’d have to be hungry for it.
Yeah, DS3 was a big letdown for me. The jump-scares got old after a few hours, focused mainly on third-person shooting, and lacked any of the psychological horror of the previous two, particularly the first.
Ooh, coastal. I can see what you mean by gambling with the weather, but a lot of times it’s just going somewhere different and making memories, regardless of rain or shine. 😃
I’m sure we’ll get it. They alluded to it at a press event a while back.
